Hello,
we have F2 billing for sales order and FV billing for contract, both are order related billing.
Client want to combine Sales order and contract in SINGLE billing document but without changing billing document type. How can we do that.
e.g.
Sales order 1 ----- billing type F2
Contract - 2 ----- billing type FV
Create billing (doesnt matter billing document type) which will include Sales order and Contract.
Thanks a lot in advance.
Vishal
Hi,
In the standard, this is not possible
probably you have to go with a new routine development in VOFM and assign this in the copy control from sales order to Billing document in transaction code VTFA in Field VBRK/VBRP
you can refer 003 - Single invoice for developing your new code
regrds,
santosh
Hi,
when you run billing transaction, please specify the Default billing type F2 or FV in the selection screen. The system will adopt it, and billing type is not more splitting criteria.
Of course in VTFA customizing copy control should be setup accordingly.
Best regards,
Ivano.
Hi Experts,
1. We have ZA - Account Manager partner created. When I do final settlement of rebate, one popup is coming and asking to select one out of list of account managers. As per business, we have more than one account manager assigned to a customer account and each should be impacting according to their invoices. Is rebate amount applies to account manager on the invoice? How do we apply rebate to more than one account manager assigned to a customer?
2. I have another question. Customer rebates BO03 shows on invoice but does not effect profit margin of sales order or invoice. Can we have projected profit margin statistical condition? If so, please let me know the process steps.
3. One more question: Is rebate amounts will not be reflected in COPA until they are credited to the customer? if so commissions are processed monthly and rebates are processed quarterly, it is going to be an issue where account manager's gross profit is over-stated until after the quarter has closed and the rebates are processed. How do we overcome this problem.
Please let me know if you need more information.
I really appreciate your input in this regard.
Manohar.
Dear All,
I am working on rolling out the rebate proces into the system, i have the setup ready and users are testing. could you please suggest me the steps i need to take before i move the setup to production.
1. about the already exising invoices.
2. business has already paid for few customers rebate manually. how shall i process these invoices not part of the agreement settlments after go live.
thanks for your suggestions.
Hi King,
Are you uploading old Invoices which were created in legacy system to SAP? Just check with business, do they really want to upload legacy billing documents? How its possible? If so, which table are you going to update.. Is it VBRK?
Anyway for updating already created Invoices you may use report SDBONT06, read the documentation of this program in SE38
Regards, Sai Krishna.
King,
Is it that you have configured the Rebate functionality recently?
And after UAT this would be moved to PRD system?
In that case, the billing documents that are already created, do these have the rebate condition types? The rebate basis?
If not, then how are you thinking of "including" these documents (the values - e.g. Rebate basis) in to the rebate agreement?
Please check Retroactive rebate agreement functionality.
In Retroactive rebate, for the billing documents created before the Rebate agreement, the accural value has to be manually given in the agreement.
Thus probably for - "some billing documents - already rebate is given to customer", there wont be an issue.
Sai,
Why would there be any concern to upload in SAP, the billing documents in the Legacy system?
Thank you, in advance!
Hi TW,
In all my previous projects, i have not seen any one migrating the closed SD documents. I have seen clients asking open SO's to migrate to SAP.
If they want to upload billing documents then , we should have Del, SO also to be uploaded correct ?
Ideally, open transactions are advisable to upload. Thats why open line items from FI side will be uploaded.
Let see what others say.
Regards, Sai Krishna.
Hello T W and Sai Krishna,
Thanks for your updations, SAP already in place and i am rolling out only teh rebate process into PRd system,
i dont have the rebate condition types in the invoices, i guess with VBOF transaction i will be able to update the old invoices and will be able to get the agreements settled automatically.
but only concern i have is we have few customers for whom few invoice related rebate has been paid. when i run the automatic updation of all the invoices to the new rebate agreement will get updated, but few invoices which has been paid, their value need to be removed.
could you please sugges how shall i be able to remove their value.
thanks to you both for your suggestion.
king,
For the point "some value needs to be removed" could you please try to manually decrease the accrued amount? (in your rebate agreement)
king,
Another solution (I think this would be the better one) is to not touch the Rebate agreement or the amount accrued.
For those customer, who have got some rebate amount already, send them a debit note (i.e. get the money paid to them as rebate back).
Before sending out a debit note, discuss with them the entire rationale behind getting money back from them (as again the rebate amount would be given to them, so no loss for them).
In your system too, the rebate agreement would show the entire picture.
All the billing documents those are part of the agreement.
The total / actual rebate basis and the amount accrued.
Sai,
Could you please explain the below:
Thats why open line items from FI side will be uploaded.
Thank you!
Hi T W,
Thanks for the suggestion,
i will check if the debit note process can be taken up.
As i see that the rebate process is standard, i guess once i move the set up to the PRd system, should not effect any processes. do you suggest i need to take care anything before i move the set up to PRD system,
thanks once again,
