Have you tried to search the web for the needed information?

For example if you enter: sd+customer+hierarchy site:sap.com in most of the popular search engines, it produces a lot of results. The documentation in help.sap.com in particular for customer hierarchies is very detailed - I believe you will find it useful for understanding the concept.

In case you have faced a specific problem with the setup or processing - please explain what is the issue, so that the forum members could assist you in the investigaion.

Thanks for your immediate response i am CO consultant client requirement is to flow characteristic value to CO-PA by customer, region , Type of customer and etc need to capture in CO-PA

Getting the customer hierarchy partners as partner functions in the sales document is one thing - if you perform the search as already suggested, you will find very good documentation on the subject in help.sap.com.

Getting customer hierarchy in CO-PA seems to be a different story. I strongly suggest that you perform a search in SCN - for example customer hierarchy co-pa and read the discussions/wiki etc.

Some forum members suggest that using the SD hierarchy may not be a very good idea in certain cases and provide an alternative approach. Unfortunately I do not consider myself an expert in that area, so cannot comment whether this is a cause for concern for your requirement.

Hi VRK,

 

Along with accrual a/c key, try with having ERL and Reqt =2 at Sample Quality Expenses.

As per the reference of the above thread i had configuration done from Sales & distribution there is issue showing during the VDH1N

 

 

Hierarchy type T: There are no active assignments for 02.11.2015 : Message no. VC029

Check in table KNVH with HITYP = 'T'. If no entries exist, somebody should maintain them. If they exist with different validity, use the validity dates from KNVH as selection criteria in VDH1N.

Since your SD colleagues had set up the customer hierarchy, as a next step somebody should execute the assignment of hierarchy nodes/customer numbers to the new hierarchy. This procedure can be diferent in different companies. In some companies I have worked in, the consultant who performs the setup is responsible for master data uploads as well (the data is provided by the business in specific templates), while in other companies the master data changes are responsibility of master data team for big volumes of data. Some companies use also self-service portals with workflow approval for single changes to master data.

You need to check what is the established procedure in your company - who is supposed to create the hierarchy nodes and the assignments.

Excise Base Amount Update

Dear Friends,

 

We are facing an issue wherein Excise Base amount(Field EXBAS) is not updating in the table J_1IEXCDTL. Whereas BED and other values are updating. This is happening after path upgrade.

 

Do we have to use J_1I7_USEREXIT_CALC_EXC_BASE to update the above value. I have checked the said user exit but there is no logic written inside the program. EXBAS values were getting updated before patch upgrade. If so how to find out what logic was written inside the program.

 

Please suggest.

Tom,

 

Thanks a lot of the document, its very helpful. but only issue is that the in our procedure the discount condition is before the tax condition, and VPRS cost is after the tax condition, hence we have created a base routine to pull amounts from VPRS as base for the tax vertex call.

 

What I tried was to add another after the tax conditions. but this populates the Net value as negative and Tax as positive. what i was looking for is that both Net and Tax values should be 0, but taxes should be posted to a revenue account. screen shot attached.


also having in posting the tax amount to the revenue accounts. this is getting charged to customer account now.

 

I would appreciate if you could let me know how I can achieve this.

Report on Sales Tax charged by vendors

How to create report to extract the amount of sales tax charged by vendors? The vendor invoice management is inserting tax to the tax amount field (Vendor charged Tax Amount).


Any advise to simple way to generate report.

ORDCHG - Delete a Line Item

Hello,

  I am using ORDERS05/ORDCHG for  our Inbound EDI 860.   I am able to change my PO with a New Price and no of units..

However, I am unable to delete  a line item from the existing sales order..

Say suppose my initial sales order has 3 line items.. My vendor sends PO change for 2 items and vendor wants to cancel the third line item...

 

Was wondering if the FM - " IDOC_INPUT_ORDCHG " supports the Deletion of line item..

Have anyone has faced this issue..

Avaialbility Check Logic for sales order creation

Dear Friends,

 

I have a material with for eg 100 EA at plant A

 

Availability check tested with BAPI_MATERIAL_AVAILABILITY  displays 100 EA

 

Created a sales order for 10 EA

 

Availability check tested with BAPI_MATERIAL_AVAILABILITY shows 100 EA

 

Created a delivery and PGI through 601

 

Availability check tested with BAPI_MATERIAL_AVAILABILITY shows 90 EA

 

There is a confusion for me here. I am expecting the availability to be 90 EA after the sales order got created so that it is reseved as sales requirements.

 

What settings or rule to be done so that moment I create a sales order and the availibiltiy check should be 90 EA.

 

 

Can friends please help me in the configuration settings .

Terms of Payment day limit range across month

I have encountered a requirement similiar to this question, which has not been fully answered in my opinion: http://scn.sap.com/thread/751003

 

Like the OP of the old thread, I need payment terms that go across months. Scheme where "N" means current month:

 

Where "Document Date" = 05.N to 19.N

=> "Due Date" = 10.N+3

Where "Document Date" = 20.N to 04.N+1

=> "Due Date" = 25.N+3

 

My two attempts so far:

 

1. Setting three terms of payment with the same name:

  1. First Term:
    • "Day Limit" = 4
    • "Fixed Date" = 25
    • "Additional Months" = 3
  2. Second Term:
    • "Day Limit" = 19
    • "Fixed Date" = 10
    • "Additional Months" = 3
  3. Third Term
    • "Day Limit" = 31
    • "Fixed Date" = 25
    • "Additional Months" = 3

        

2. The same set of terms except the third has no Day Limit, so I would think it will be set as default:

  1. First Term:
    • "Day Limit" = 4
    • "Fixed Date" = 25
    • "Additional Months" = 3
  2. Second Term:
    • "Day Limit" = 19
    • "Fixed Date" = 10
    • "Additional Months" = 3
  3. Third Term:
    • No "Day Limit"
    • "Fixed Date" = 25
    • "Additional Months"

 

Is this even possible? I hope you could understand me.

There is a confusion for me here. I am expecting the availability to be 90 EA

 

 

What is your confusion?  Stock was there for 100 out of which, delivery was done for 10 nos.  Now the available stock should be 90 only

What was the Availability checking rule observed at sales order??  is it 01/02??

 

Have you tried activating 02-Individual requirements for your material with Plant in Sales/General plant View at MMR??

 

Also based on your sales area also- you can ask system the way it has to behave --will be done at:

 

SPRO>>SD>>Basic functions>>Availability check & transfer of requirements>>Availability with ATP logic or against planning>>Define default settings---Here check options in column Availability check Rule.

Check out transaction VOV6 if "Availability" for "sched. line cat." of SO is checked.

To transfer purchase from in price schema in DP90 you use ODP1. In this transaction you insert the condition (ex: EK01) that you want transfer from purchase order to sales order through DP90.
